Every Blue Green Zanzibar Tours package includes: airport pickup and drop-off, hotel-to-hotel daily transfers, professional English-speaking local guides, entrance fees to all visited sites, and the full list of activities for your chosen duration. What's not included is accommodation (we can recommend options at all budgets), flights to Zanzibar (ZNZ Airport), personal travel insurance, and any optional upgrades you choose to add. All prices are quoted per person for the activity/tour component of your trip.

You can swap activities (e.g. replace a Spice Farm tour with a Mnemba Island snorkeling day), extend your package duration, add a Tanzania wildlife safari to Mikumi or Selous, adjust dates, and add guests at any time before departure. Our Zanzibar tour packages range from $295 per person for the 3 Days / 2 Nights package up to $1,160 per person for the 7 Days / 6 Nights package. The 8 Days / 7 Nights package is available from $985. These prices cover all activities, transfers, and guide fees listed in each itinerary. Accommodation, flights, and personal expenses are separate. Group discounts are available for parties of 4 or more — contact us for a custom quote.

Zanzibar is a year-round destination, but the best seasons are:

• June–October (Peak / Cool Dry Season): Best for ocean activities — Safari Blue, snorkeling, diving, and dolphin tours. Book at least 4–6 weeks in advance.
• December–March (Warm Beach Season): Sunny days, warm Indian Ocean water, perfect for beach-heavy packages. Busy around Christmas and New Year.
• April–May (Low Season): Reduced prices, fewer crowds, lush green landscapes. Short daily rains typically in the morning only.

Most international visitors require a Tanzanian visa to enter Zanzibar. You can apply for an e-Visa online before departure through the official Tanzania Immigration portal — this is the fastest and most recommended method. Visa on arrival is also available at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) but may involve queues. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date. Visa requirements vary by nationality, so check your country's specific requirements before booking.

Fly into Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (IATA: ZNZ) in Zanzibar City. Direct or connecting international flights are available from Dubai, Doha, Nairobi, Addis Ababa, Amsterdam, and major African hubs. From Dar es Salaam, you can reach Zanzibar by a 20-minute domestic flight or a 90-minute ferry crossing. Once you land, your Blue Green Zanzibar Tours driver will meet you in the arrivals hall and transfer you directly to your hotel.

Zanzibar is generally safe for tourists. The island has a welcoming, friendly culture and receives hundreds of thousands of visitors annually. Standard travel precautions apply: don't leave valuables unattended on the beach, use reputable transport, and stay aware in busy markets. Our guides accompany you throughout every tour day, and we provide WhatsApp support 24/7 during your stay. The island has no significant malaria risk compared to mainland Tanzania, though standard health precautions are recommended.

No mandatory vaccinations are required to enter Zanzibar (unless arriving from a yellow fever-endemic country, where a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required). However, the following are strongly recommended: Hepatitis A, Typhoid, and Tetanus. Zanzibar has a low malaria risk compared to mainland Tanzania, but anti-malarials are still advisable — consult your travel clinic at least 4–6 weeks before departure for personal advice based on your health profile and travel dates.
