Day 1: Zanzibar – Mikumi & First Game Drive
06:00 AM – Hotel Pick-Up & Transfer to Airport
Our driver will pick you up from your Zanzibar hotel and take you to the airport for your flight to Mikumi National Park.
Morning – Flight from Zanzibar to Mikumi
Enjoy a scenic flight over Tanzania’s breathtaking landscapes as you head to the heart of the wild.
12:00 PM – Arrival at Mikumi & Lunch
Upon arrival, we’ll take you to a beautiful lodge or campsite inside the park for a leisurely lunch before the adventure begins.
02:00 PM – Afternoon & Evening Game Drive
After lunch, we set off on an exciting game drive, exploring Mikumi’s stunning landscapes and looking for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and more.
The late afternoon is also a great time to spot predators like lions and leopards as they start to become active.
06:30 PM – Check-in at Lodge or Campsite
After an amazing safari, we’ll take you to your comfortable lodge or tented campsite where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the African bush.
07:30 PM – Dinner Under the Stars

Day 2: Full-Day Safari & Return to Zanzibar
07:00 AM – Morning Breakfast
Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the lodge while soaking in the breathtaking views of the African bush.
08:00 AM – Full-Day Game Drive
Today is all about exploring! You’ll spend approximately 8 hours on a game drive, covering different areas of Mikumi.
This extended safari gives you the best chance to spot rare and elusive wildlife, including big cats, large elephant herds, and even African wild dogs.
12:30 PM – Bush Lunch
We’ll take a break at a scenic spot inside the park for a relaxing bush lunch surrounded by nature.
02:00 PM – Exit the Park with an En-Route Game Drive
As we leave Mikumi, we’ll continue spotting wildlife along the way, making the most of every last safari moment!
05:00 PM – Stop for a Photo Opportunity at the Airstrip
Before boarding your flight, we’ll stop at a scenic spot for some last-minute photos to capture the memories of your incredible safari.
06:00 PM – Flight Back to Zanzibar
Board your return flight, and enjoy one last look at the African wilderness from above as you make your way back to Zanzibar.
07:30 PM – Arrival in Zanzibar & Transfer to Your Hotel

You’ll take a domestic flight from Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park, which takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Once you arrive, we will transfer you directly into the park for your safari.
